Deborah Sweeney has been working from her busy studio in Westhorpe for the past decade, here she paints and teaches.
Following a Fine Art degree at Sheffield, Deborah went to live in Greece where her style became colourful and impressionistic as a result of the Mediterranean light. Her subject matter is broad and diverse from still-life to interiors and landscapes. In recent years Deborah has been successfully showing work at The Royal Academy Summer Show. Three paintings have been accepted in the past three years. More recently paintings have been of her immediate surroundings as Deborah has developed an affinity with her local Nottinghamshire landscape.
